3D Print Picks is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk.
When you follow a link from this site to Amazon and buy something, we receive a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same. Amazon pays the commission out of its own margin.
How to spot an affiliate link
Every affiliate link on this site is a coloured button or a clearly marked product link, and each one carries a sponsored attribute so search engines can identify it as a commercial link rather than an editorial one. Commercial pages carry a disclosure notice directly beneath the headline — not buried in the footer.
What commission does not buy
- It does not buy a recommendation. Commission rates are broadly similar across 3D printers, so there is no financial reason for us to push one over another — and we would not act on it if there were.
- It does not buy a placement. No manufacturer or retailer can pay to appear in a guide, to rank higher within one, or to have criticism removed.
- It does not buy prior sight. No brand reads an article before publication.
Where the right answer is that you should spend less, or buy nothing at all, that is what our pages say. A recommendation is only worth anything if it can go against our own interest.
Other relationships
We do not currently accept sponsored posts, paid reviews, or gifted hardware in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, this page will say so before any such content is published, and the content itself will be labelled.
